What is a 90 Day Run?
A 90 Day Run is a timeline to achieving your goals. It is a path towards finally taking action on getting out of debt, losing weight, spending more family time, etc. By committing to 90 days you are making a commitment to yourself. You may face some challenges, but by committing to 90 days you will know that there is an end in sight – and it will be worth it.
How long does it take to complete this program?
When you first begin and set your 3-5 goals and plan your actions, it will take roughly 20-30 minutes to go through every step. However, you do not need to complete all steps at once. After that it may take as little as one minute to update your journal or update the progress of your goals.
Do I have to do all the steps at once?
No. Feel free to start and stop whenever you wish.
What is a goal-directed behavior?
A goal-directed behavior is the specific action you need to take in order to achieve your goal. For example, if your goal is to get a good grade on an exam, the goal-directed behavior could be studying for 60 minutes per day.
Do you have any suggestions to help prevent distractions from keeping me from my goals?
Play offense. Set up an environment beforehand that removes distractions before they arise. For example, you can set your phone to "Do Not Disturb", you can block out certain periods of the day for quiet hours, etc.
What do I do if I have more than five goals?
The program is built for you to plan to achieve 3-5 goals at a time. If you have more than goals than that, you can just start at the beginning again and plan the next one on your list. However, don't forget that each goal you set will take effort. Don't overload yourself. You can always complete one goal and move on to the next.
Why should I share my goals with other people? Do I have to?
The most effective strategy for achieving your goals is accountability. You accomplish this very well by sharing your goals with someone else. It is not absolutely necessary, but it is highly encouraged if you want to achieve success.
